Cadence

Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026

Cadence doesn't collect your data. There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. What you put in the app stays on your devices, and in your own iCloud if you turn on sync.

Cadence is made by Warm Valley Games, LLC, a Texas company ("we," "us"). This policy covers the Cadence app for iPhone and iPad and this website.

What the app stores

Everything you make in Cadence is saved on your device. That includes your practice sessions, exercises, routines, plans, notes, sheet music, annotations, and recordings. We never receive any of it.

The app doesn't use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, and it doesn't sell or share data with anyone.

iCloud Sync

iCloud Sync is off until you turn it on in Settings. When it's on, your practice data and sheet music sync through your private iCloud database, using your Apple Account. Apple stores that data under its own privacy policy. We can't see it.

Microphone and camera

You can turn off microphone or camera access at any time in the Settings app on your device.

Widgets and sharing

Cadence widgets show a short summary of your recent practice. The app passes that summary to the widget on your device. Nothing leaves the device.

If you share a routine, a file, or a recording, it goes only where you send it.

Information from Apple

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple sends us crash reports and usage statistics. These come to us in aggregate and don't identify you. We use them only to fix bugs and improve the app.

This website

This site has no cookies, ads, or analytics. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site. The site loads a font from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.

If you email us

If you write to us, we get your email address and whatever you send. We use it only to reply, and we don't add you to any mailing list.

Children

Cadence isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, at any age.

Your rights

Because we don't hold your data, you're already in control of it. You can edit or delete anything in the app. To delete everything, tap Reset all data in Cadence's Settings, or delete the app. To delete synced data, manage Cadence's iCloud storage in your device's iCloud settings.

Depending on where you live, laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act may give you rights to see or delete personal data a company holds about you. If you have questions about those rights, email us. We'll tell you what, if anything, we have.

If you're outside the United States, using Cadence means any information you send us, such as an email, is handled in the United States.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
